G’day! My name is Harry.
I’m a wild food cook, content creator, photographer, and storyteller, deeply connected to nature, food, and flavour.
I grew up in a tiny coastal town on the edge of North Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef, and that wild upbringing shaped everything I do. From spearing fish on the reef to hunting goats in the mountains, I’ve always lived close to the land & today, I share that way of life with people who crave something more real.
Off the Beaten Coast is my creative home.
It’s where food, fire, and the wild converge. A space for real living, rewilding, and reconnecting with where our food really comes from.
Welcome to Off the Beaten Coast…
I’ve built a career doing what I love across a lot of different spaces. I’ve worked as a chef, photographer, food stylist, commercial fisherman, distiller, venue manager & even clownfish farmer (Not a joke). I’ve hunted, spearfished and farmed my own food. I’ve developed food and beverage concepts for hospitality venues, worked in high-end tourism, and featured on multiple stints on national television. Every chapter has shaped the way I approach creativity, storytelling and food.
Now, I work for myself, creating content, experiences and stories that inspire people to connect more deeply with nature, food and the wild places we come from.
If you're keen to bring something to life, whether it's a wild feast, a creative project or a good yarn around the fire, let's make it happen.
